Continuing off our sold out workshop last year, we are excited to host another 2-part rings workshop for both new and experienced athletes.

Whether you are looking to learn how to add rings to your routine, or if you want to learn more advanced skills to perform on the gymnastic rings, this is one workshop you definitely don’t want to miss out!

Gymnastics rings are one of the best tools out there for upper body strength development, not only does it build immense strength but will also challenge your coordination, stability and flexibility. Rings are unforgiving and will immediately point out your weakest links of your body, if it is not part of your current practice routine already then you are definitely missing out!

Session 1: Intro and review

This session is suitable for those who have never touched rings before or would like a review correction on the fundamentals.  The workshop will be taught with a focus on safety and progression; along with a full breakdown for each skill in order for students to grasp proper form and technique.  The following topics will be covered:

  • Basic strength and conditioning

  • Support position

  • Inversion

  • Skin the Cat + German Hang

  • Intro to Muscle Up

  • Intro to levers
