Tumbling is a form of gymnastics performed without props or equipment. Also referred to as floor gymnastics, common moves performed in tumbling include flips, somersaults, tucks, handstands and handsprings.

Our coaches at Trybe use a highly progressive approach to teaching tumbling. Tumbling 1 is the introduction class for beginners. We help our students relearn basic movement patterns and move from there, helping them take risk and eventually..take off in the air!

The foundational moves are done “on the floor” to help you build up your spatial awareness and body control, as you move towards being inverted and in the air.

You will be introduced to drills to help you with basic tumbling moves. All students learn at their own pace so once you have mastered the basic rolls you will be ready to learn new skills in Tumbling 2!
